This policy explains what personal data we collect when you visit this website, what we use it for and how you can control it. It is written in accordance with Colombia'sLaw 1581 of 2012 (Habeas Data) and Decree 1377 of 2013.

This English text is provided for convenience. NOVA Imaging is a Colombian company and the Spanish version of this policyis the legally binding one. If the two differ, the Spanish version prevails.
1. Scope of this policy
This policy applies only to this commercial website.
The processing of clinical data and medical records inside the RIS/PACS platform contracted by an institution is not governed by this document, but by the contract and the data processing agreement signed with each customer. In that context NOVA Imaging acts as the processor, and the healthcare institution as the controller. This website does not contain, process or store any patient information.

3. What data we collect
This site has no contact forms and no user registration. The data we process is of two kinds:
- Browsing data, collected automatically only if you accept analytics cookies: IP address (anonymized by the tools before it is stored), device and browser type, approximate city, pages visited, time on page, scrolling and clicks. Microsoft Clarity may additionally generate an anonymous session replay (cursor movement and navigation) and aggregated heatmaps.
- Data you give us voluntarily when you write to us on WhatsApp or by email: your name, phone number, email address, institution and the content of your message. By starting that conversation you authorize its processing in order to handle your commercial enquiry.
We do not collect sensitive data or health information through this site. Please do not send us clinical patient data by WhatsApp or email.
4. What we use it for
- Measure use of the site in order to improve its content, structure and performance.
- Understand which sections are useful or confusing for someone evaluating our product.
- Handle and follow up on the commercial enquiries you send us.
- Comply with applicable legal obligations.
NOVA Imaging does not sell your data and does not use it for advertising: we do not run remarketing or commercial profiling on browsing information, and Google Analytics advertising signals are permanently disabled on this site.
Please note that Microsoft Clarity, if you accept analytics cookies, syncs a browser identifier (MUID) with other Microsoft services, including Bing. That processing is carried out by Microsoft as an independent controller, under its own privacy statement linked below, and is outside our control.
5. Cookies we use
Analytics cookies are not installed until you accept them in the notice that appears on your first visit. Until you accept, your browser does not contact Google or Microsoft.

6. International data transfer
If you accept analytics cookies, browsing data is processed on servers belonging to Google LLC and Microsoft Corporation, located outside Colombia (primarily in the United States and the European Union). Both providers have contractual data protection clauses in place. By accepting, you authorize this transfer under the terms of article 26 of Law 1581 of 2012.
7. Your rights as a data subject
Under article 8 of Law 1581 of 2012, you have the right to:
- Know, update and correct your personal data.
- Request proof of the authorization you granted, except where the law does not require it.
- Be informed, upon request, about how we have used your data.
- File complaints with the Superintendency of Industry and Commerce for breaches of the law.
- Withdraw your authorization and/or request deletion of the data where no legal or contractual duty prevents it.
- Access your personal data that has been processed, free of charge.
To exercise them, write to us atcontacto@novaimaging.costating your request and a contact detail. We handle enquiries within a maximum of ten (10) business days and complaints within a maximum of fifteen (15) business days, extendable as provided by law.
8. Retention and security
Browsing data is retained for the periods listed in the cookie tables and, on the analytics platforms, in aggregated form for a maximum of 14 months. Commercial contact data is retained while a relationship or legitimate interest exists, and is deleted when you ask us to. We apply encryption in transit (HTTPS) and access control over the analytics tools.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect legal changes or changes in the tools we use. The date of the last update appears at the top of the document. If a change materially affects the processing of your data, we will ask for your consent again.
